I had that problem before, it's pretty much gone away now. I'm not really sure what fixed it though, sorry I can't help.

When I have problems like this, I go to the BFSM site, . Have a look in the forums, you may find a solution there.

the problem seemd to go away also. what i did was increase the map restart and next map time to 20 seconds instead of 12 seconds.. i also disabled map voting...

not sure which did it, but so far it hasnt happend to me, and i have been idling in it all day.


my next problem is that i cant get ppl to stay in my server.. LOL

really want to fill it up so i can test its performance.. but not many ppl stay. the most ppl i have gottn into it was 10.. which includes me and my second computer idling in it..


there is virtuly no lag, and lots of ppl have vgood pings.. but as soon as it changes maps, i loose like 50% of the clients that were in it... if im lucky 3 or 4 will stay.. i have it all updated.. on latest patchs and all..

at the moment.. i have it with a 45 min time lim, 2 cft maps and the rest Conquest.. and most maps start out with 300-400 tickets. for CTF, 3 flag captures...

is there specific map lists that ppl like? any suggestions on how i could fill it up?

also, do the modded DC 7 maps work with DC final? i see some modded maps for dc final but i dont know if they do it custom themselves or if they jus dl it from here..

i used to have some custom maps, but now dont because i updated to dc final and didnt know if they would work with it or not..

heh people lately are leaving the game or something... my(sorta mine, not /mine/ but where i mod for) servers used to be extremely popular then some ips got changed around as we got better servers for main servers and old servers got distributed to the clans based on the servers/forums and alot of ppl couldnt find them for a while, bytime the retarded server search thing actually started showing them again we've not been able to pull people in much, when we first found this site acouple started modding and were able to bring back one of the servers for the summer, but since dcf its been tough getting people into either server again, just not much interest in the game anymore it seems when a set of servers that used to be full just about 24/7 where people would come onto teamspeak and not have any room left in the servers just empties
