What do you mean, "how"?
We play a campaign, and we play a modded (both teams can buy moddings) match every sunday evening. A fellow modder and myself are responsible for creating the patchfiles. I additionally started to create a complete mod to enhance Vanilla BF42 without altering Gameplay too much (enhancing graphics, sound, effects etc.), creating new textures for vehicles according to themeset etc. . There are only minor gameplay changes, e.g. I included the soldier.camerashakefactor 1 as general setting, eliminated the wobbling around of the tanks (so they behave more "heavy", as in FH or BG), adding two rear seats to all jeeps and also to all tanks so infantry transportation is easier. That kinda stuff. Doing more would be way too much work for a single person, at least if it's a casual modder as I am.

I already almost wrote this. But it was back in 2005-2006 and I have lost all the files now. It was either called W2KMod or Xevimod at some point. It was Desert Combat (actually DC Final) modded with a very small objects.rfa mod, and it only worked on Berlin.

The idea was to play 1 or 2 humans versus like 60 bots. The Coalition team (blue) were the real players and all their weapons were basically minigun versions of normal weapons. The round of fire was virtually infinite, as was ammo. All accuracy was dead-on, and there was no recoil.

I also modified the SMAW to move very slowly through the air, with a very large arc. This created a nuclear weapon basically, as I turned up the damage to infinite and the radius to infinite. If you shot it, you could blow up the entire map (of Berlin, with the buildings and walls too) and kill people. FF was off, so it was great fun. It made a loud whistling noise and, again, moved so slowly through the air you could almost keep pace with it when running.

I don't think I did much with the vehicles, but I did change all Red bot names to random celebrities and such. (We had Billy Mays, Samuel L Jackson, Bill Cosby, etc).

Oh, that was a fun mod. I wish I still had a copy around.
