I'm trying to run Muitlple server off of my useless-always on computer, but I have a router.... Is there anyway to make the connection act as though there is no router, as it would work with just being connected to the Modem box?

yes yes please tell I have same problem when I wanna do client testing

maan i hate routers! it should be possible to set them up right so they let both servers throw tho. just that i hate those slow updating in the modems and 10 000 tries before it works (if it does because the cheap crap modem decides not to)

by the way its much easier to the computer you have the servers on act as an router, then there will be no more router problems and its an inbuilt function in XP (maybe just xp professional not sure) oh and you need two network cards in the server computer to and a switch to the rest of the computers ( or you can use the inbuilt switch in the router if you set it up right )

i think there is usb networkcards you can plug in but cant say if their any good

You may need to set your Router up in Bridge Mode so that the computer skips over it and goes directly to the modem while still using it as an access point, then you forward some ports for your server and have people connect to the machines Net IP with the open port on the end.

btw you dont need more than 1 IP to set up multiple bf servers
