it's the KHLB2 barebone right? i got a very similar Notebook with the KHLB2 from Compal. I think its a good notebook... only the workmanship isn't the best but it also isn't the worst.

PS: i hate the fingerprintreader^^ shitty drivers and not really comfortable

I have no intention of using the fingerprint reader.

It is a Compal KHLB2 yeah. I don't care much about the quality of the case or whatnot. It's not going to endure a great deal of wear and tear or anything. Plus at least it's not Dell, HP, Compaq, etc, where they put their logo and stickers all over it and make it basically impossible to remove.

It's currently "on the Fedex delivery truck" so I will get it sometime today. I've been up since 9am waiting for the doorbell, since I have to sign for the package and I'm the only one home today. If I miss it, I won't get it until tomorrow! It's direct signature required, so I can't even put one of the slips of paper on the front door that authorizes a release without signature.

My Dell came the same way, and it took a month for me to get it (one of the components was on special order- I think it was the processor) but yeah, once I got the tracking number I was beyond impatient. Senshi's right the anxiety and anticipation kills you...I'm that way with anything I know I'm getting but have to wait.

I'm that way with everything I know I'm getting that is either really expensive or really cool (or both... 8-) ). Man, the days I waited until my motorcycle was shipped here when I turned 18...so cruel...couldn't sleep...
