I happen to really enjoy the game. All of you hardcore Battlefield fans are right to instantly be put off by it... it is absolutely
NOTHING like any of the other Battlefield games.
I hated BFH the first few times I played it... then I realized that this isn't Battlefield, it is something entirely new. It's a cross between a MMO-PvP and a 3rd-Person-Shooter. Once I accepted that fact I approached the game with a new agenda... learn how the game plays. Using abilities (something that isn't in any other Battlefield game) is essential to becoming good at this game. Your first few levels you'll only have 1 or 2 abilities... but once you get beyond level 10 you'll have multiple abilities which in my opinion is where the game starts to get much more fun. Teamwork is also a vital part of the game as your abilities can affect your teammates too.
Obviously it is not for everyone... and I'm not shocked in the slightest that the majority of you are appalled by it
I for one find it infinitely better than BF2 or BF2142. I'm looking forward to BF1943 but in the mean time this game will keep me entertained.
[TKO] has already pre-ordered a BFH server. For those of you who are willing to give it a chance feel free to stop on by our server (
once it is officially released)
Oh and no... we're not abandoning BFV! [TKO] will be involved with BFV, BFH and BF1943.
Archimonde0_0, you said that you can mod BFH - How so? I'm guessing that even if we are able to SSM our maps that they'll have to be un-ranked.
