So im already paying for one server, so I dont want to waste anymore money. =-0

Someone else and I are going to start up a small clan, so we need a server. So, I was just going to set one up on my computer, but there are times where I am gone for a week or two at a time...And the computer is going to be shut off....

So...dumb question, but is there any way to keep the server up and running even when i am gone, with the pc shut off? (Like i said, dumb question, but i guess i can ask The only other way i can think of is give the guy im paying (DaglGaming) a few extra bucks so I can put a second server on for those couple weeks I am gone....But still, that is a different I.P. Address >:(

Yeah. So just leave the computer on. Mine are always running 24/7 unless somebody is using my computer room as a guest room. It's not a waste of electricity since you're actually doing something with the computer.

Ya, I keep a mod testing server up on bfv all the time. The only bad part is, my internet shuts off at random times, or my cat walks on the power supply pulling it out. It's well worth the $5 extra a month in electricity billing.
