Really? :D Well...you didn't. But at least you got the verb right, that's quite something.

Das Mädchen trinkt Milch.

That would be correct.

Though "Mädchen" describes a feminime subject and if you had used "Frau", "die" would be correct, the german wonderword "das" is used here.

I'm dutch, but from what I experienced French people don't speak a word English... But they think it's absolutely great when you can speak a few words of French. And be as polite as you can.

"Je voudrais" means "could I have?" as in "Je voudrais trois baguettes."

"Hier trinkhalm einstechen"

I like how we went from Archi's computer problems to what language everyone speaks and which is easiest to learn...  we are amazing.

Yes, we are amazing here. ;-) And Archi be careful with your capitalization, I believe you were very close to saying "The boy girl drinks milk."

no junge only stands for boy when used with der, otherwise it means young.

Now you got it, Archi :)

Except the capitalization.

"Milch" is a noun, thus written with capital letter. As is "Frau" in the first and "Junge" in the 3rd sentence. Additionally, they are subjects in the sentences, and in German subjects are always written with capital letter. "junge" in the first sentence is an adjective or in this case an attribute (as it's concerning the "Frau" afterwards), thus written small.

Yes, my experience with French is similar. They are quite resistant to learn any foreign language, which sometimes appears quite arrogant. Especially as they refuse to even use English as a second language for internation communication (or if they learn it, only on a very low basis) or anything else. It also is kinda funny how they refuse to use english expressions which are elsewhere internationally accepted, especially in modern technics. Like they don't have computers, but "des ordinateurs". Or they don't have megabytes, but "mégaoctet". Kinda cute how they try to preserve "national culture, identity and language", as their government calls it. As well as their radios are forced by law to play at least 3/4 of the time only french chansons and music. Only 1/4 may be international....only small private radio stations are not bound by that law.

I hate it when government sticks their face and hands in everything, why can't any government of the world just let their people live?
