I only use chase view, and only sometimes, when flying a bomber (mostly A-10c and SU-25).
If not, the cluster bombs will always overshoot the target. Otherwise, I fly in nose view all the time, and only occasionally flip through all my views to check for enemy planes, or see the results of a bombing run. I likewise immediately crash most planes and all helicopters if I don't fly in nose cam view.

I suck at flying, so I leave that to the guys who can. But I have to admit I'm no regular public player. Usually only campaign battles, and if once in a while public, then I usually rock a server together with a bunch of other guys from the campaign

Flying isn't hard....usually.
In FH it is, planes aren't responsive enough.
In DC is sort of is, the jets are too fast for my taste (bombers not included) The choppers take alot of practice, but aren't hard either once you have practiced.
In vanilla 42, it's beyond easy. Almost like you can do it without any practice at all.

Flying itself isn't the problem, of course anyone can do that. But flying GOOD, really GOOD, that's a whole other topic. I stand not the slightest chance against the "pros" we have.

I never had many problems with flying DC helicopters, I found them actually very well designed. It's not easy, but flying a helicopter shouldn't be easy On the other hand, they are brutal killing machines...

DC Helo's are hard to get used to compared to BFV. Still getting used to the fact that you have to releash the accleration, let it fall some, then hit it again. Would love it if it were like BFV.

The 1942 engine wasn't designed to have objects move the way that choppers do, or be controllable when going as fast as jets do. That being said, DC did a pretty good job.
