Yep, that's really a heavy blow to the small modding projects who relied on filefront. Hundreds of small projects were just not big or rich enough to host their own sites, nevertheless there were thousands of awesome mods hosted on Filfefront. I especially fear that many of the now unsupported mods for older games will now be lost forever... http://farewell.filefront.com/ |

Oh god....They have more bf1942 skins than anyone and I'll admit I've used alot of those in my mod. We can't lose them! Some of those skins are amazing and don't exist anywhere else. Also for my mod, you will need xpack1 (Road To Rome) for alot of stuff. The weapon animations don't like to load (ex. k98bayonet doesn't move). But vehicles work fine and we use alot of them. (M3GMC, Bf110, Pak40, AT25, etc..) |

 Yeah, they only went down for a few minutes last night. Then I guess they came back. I feel really stupid for not realizing the impeccable timing of their "indefinite shutdown".
