I don't know if any of you have heard of the mod 'siege", if not its explained in this article. With a little help, this novelty mod could become much more.

I'm not sure if its still going on, seeing as this article was written several months ago.

I've played this mod, It was much more fun after I re-animated all the weapons though, then it actually kinda made sense.

It only has 2 maps however and the medieval feel is kind of absent, the armor doesn't even fit right and isn't accurate. With a little work yea it could be good, but it would require modeling multiple characters, and last time I tried that the .skn exporter either wasn't working correctly, or I was doing something incorrectly.

it has 4 maps now in the 0.32 version, which has a few more updates then before, but yes, it still is lacking a good medieval feel. a good texturing on the armor would help, maybe a little shine.

on a latter note, i sent an email to the person in the article, asking him if he and his partner are still working on it.

Yes a friend and I are still (slowly) working on Siege. We have done quite a bit in the past few days, actually, and a website is coming soon. Progress is slow though, mostly because it is only a two-man team...
We are in need of new team members, especially coders. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
