so....how do i upload stuff like a modded map to ftp.....or server files.

Transfer files.
Disconnect.

This varies wildly based on what FTP client you are using. There are always basic instructions provided by the company that wrote your specific FTP client.

i think the simplest way may be to use the inbuilt windows explorer.

Do you have an FTP client? The one built into windows is not very feature packed and I think it lacks file transfer, or at least I could never get it to work.

I used to use SmartFTP, but it is no longer free. I use a FireFox extension known as FireFTP for my FTP needs now.

ok i downloaded it, what program do i use to open it?
