The physics of the game prevents that from happening. The server knows where walls are. If I am on an unpure server and I remove static objects from my staticobjects.con, I will be able to see through the walls and possibly see players if they are within the draw distance. However, I can NOT shoot through the wall.

It's the same reason a server can add an "invisible" wall somewhere, and people can't fire through it.

There are always some map exploits that can explain that occurrence. Walls are one-sided...

He didn't deserve to be banned, a few Textures that turn the tanks and airplanes blue with different decals isn't a good call for banning.

If he was doing what I used to do I could see it however, although it wasnt true hacking, I use to use the Objects.rfa every now and then to do some funky stuff. Get 3rd Person views to see around corners, modify the Sniper Rifles for a cross-hair. Modify sounds so that I could hear people, or create distance sounds to better pinpoint their location. Modify Effects. I even use to modify some levels sometimes, for things like No-Fog, Invisible Buildings, No Bushes or Trees. There was even a slight chance that If I added a crate to my character, that the server wouldn't register a hit, and I know Why will disagree on me for that one, but trust me, It worked every now and then, and probably saved my life numerous times.

Some of these were more useful than others, No-Fog for instance wasn't all that useful, made me lag, and I still couldn't see past the Draw distance, so It didn't matter either way. Seeing through buildings would've been useful but Unfortunately I kept running into them, was impossible to navigate, but I knew where everyone was.

I think about the worst thing someone could do Client side is modify all building textures to be transparent, and make vibrant red and blue player skins to tell friend from foe.

The best (worst? lol) thing one could do is create custom wireframed textures. I don' even know if the game supports alpha channels (although, the windows on some vehicles kinda prove it exists). But basically buildings that are nothing but a small set of wireframe lines, and otherwise totalyl see-true with maybe a small faded tint would be brilliant. Especially with neon player models.

And hey, while we're at it let's just remove all the non-collision static objects from all the maps. Then we don't have problems with hiding in bushes. We could remove the leaves from trees!

Let's create some sort of epic client-side hack, distribute it widely, and kill the game once and for all!
