If a player uses Windows98/ME compatibility mode in WindowsXP you will always get a failed screenshot attempt from them.

But packet loss at the same time as a screenshot attempt = somebody has low bandwidth. That means that they do not have enough room to spare to send the screenshot in the background to your server, and still play the game, and still have PB scanning. Could I write a hack to cause this whenever a screenshot attempt is made? Sure. Would I get a PB Hardware Ban eventually? Yes.

some week/weeks ago we started to get a lots of pb kicks because of packetloss, yesterday i turned off the auto screenshots and it seems to work better now. havent had any problems with this before.

biggest problem is that pb auto update doesnt seem to work at all, still lots of kicks since the latest pb update.

dunno if this is related somehow. sometimes i get the feeling pb trying to kill of the game or something.

alot of what he said is the reason my 1942 server has no PB. It kicked us all within 5 seconds of joining.
