there has only ever been 2 popular mods for bf1942 are DC, and DCF a new mod that should be added to the list. DCFX is the best MOD ive ever seen but this one is different it has something going for it that others dont, it has the same FEEL as DCF but EVERTHING is improved and new weapons and vechicles. there have been alot of total conversion mods that are realy well done, people have spent a lot of time making them but......THERE NOT POPULAR NOBODY PLAYS OR HOSTS THEM--- DCFX is the next logical step and there are about 5-6 servers one being =CDU=CLAN and i need to generate intrest in the mod. BUT I PROMISE IF U DOWNLOAD IT AND PLAY IT YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED!

whoops you are correct what i meant to say was DESERT COMBAT AND DESERT COMBAT FINAL are the only 2 popular mods ever. aaarrrr!

really? im kinda partial to forgotten hope . Besides DCFX is old news.

ok, this may not be the right place, if so please correct me, but im having serious issues modding DCFX. any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated, like i dont use BC, it wont open with col cruachan, and when i open it with winrfa, it gets really complicated, there are several files instead of one, ie objectspawns, etc. so forgive me if i'm in the wrong place, just show the old guy where to go? thanks yall!

thanks Why, but maybe i didnt state the problem properly. when i open DCFX in winrfa, there are more than one objectspawns/templates. thats my prob and some others i have been in touch with who are lookin at DCFX also. i have had some success with desertshield in DCFX, but even that was limited, most of what i did, like place things in differant areas, didnt show up? it worked ss, but only limited. might be trial and error, but there are several types of these files in each map/level. im not lazy, just a little frustrated, but thanks for your advice, i sorta know the diff between cruachan's gui, and the rest.
