has anyone done this for battlefield vietnam. i have been reading all this and i have noticed bits of the code that need to be changed are different. to try to reference things i have been checking the code on maps that have conquest and coop and now i have the dumb blonde syndrome. i tried it once and bfv would not load up, so i am guessing i have done something wrong somewhere or forgot to add something. this is what stumped me. Bf1942/Game/AIdefault.con Bf1942/Game/AIbehaviours.con Bf1942/Game/AI/Strategies.con Bf1942/Game/AI/radio.con Bf1942/Game/AI/prerequisites.con Bf1942/Game/AI/conditions.con only strategies ,prerequisites and conditions are on bfv maps. just excuse me as i am learning this part of modding and its a lot harder than i thought. after looking a bit more i actually found the files listed above.shows how much of a noob i am |

Hello, I managed to 'mod' the server to crash every time it's soldiers time to spawn. Can anybody help me, what i did do wrong(berlin conquest). conquest.con: Game.setNumberOfTickets 1 80 Game.setNumberOfTickets 2 100 Game.setTicketLostPerMin 1 30 Game.setTicketLostPerMin 2 5 run Conquest/SpawnpointManagerSettings run Conquest/SoldierSpawnTemplates run Conquest/SoldierSpawns run Conquest/ObjectSpawnTemplates run Conquest/ControlPointTemplates run ai v_arg1 run Conquest/ObjectSpawns v_arg1 run Conquest/ControlPoints v_arg1 rem *** EndOfFile *** AI.con->added: run AI/AIdefault.con v_arg1 run AI/AIbehaviours.con v_arg1 aiSettings.setMaxNBots 8 extracted game.rfa files AIdefault.con AIbehaviours.con conditions.con prerequisites.con radio.con Strategies.con and copied them to map AI directory. Server starts, with 8 bots. You can join, but server crashes when spawntime. i modded omaha in dcf with one bot, but it crashes my patch : it's difficult to translate tutorials in french |
