I'm confused. With DC Final, in Stalingrad.rfa, I was able to modify controlpoints.con to add a spawn point back in in the middle. The same file in 73 eastings will not let me modify it.

Any ideas why this is?

Check coop.con, or conquest.con <whatever type of game it is you want to play>they could be calling wrong set of CP.
I had the same trouble doing an mod of berlin.The points did
wind up getting changed but if you took one flag the game was instantly over.That crap drove me nuts.
