You can change around hitpoints on anything, the trick is to carefully go in through objects.rfa. It'll be in the objects/vehicles/[air or land]/[the vehicle name]/Objects.con

Example: objects/vehicles/air/A-10/Objects.con

For instance I bumped up the HP on the A-10 so it can't be killed with one stinger anymore, so I have it the material, and HP of the Harrier, and it worked perfect. No crashing of any sort, on my Servers. However, depending on how you re-pack your Objects.rfa you might need to do your modifications a few times, sometimes it would fail on me, and make me start with a fresh Objects.rfa to get it running, so keep a fresh copy if your Objects.rfa handy..
