Ahh yes good ol robo admin put in something to block all URLSs. He will make the effort to squash any attempt to take users to another forum, but just plum craps out when it comes to closing threads that are spam or just don't need to be open (like those annoying hacking threads about the Mafia clan in the general section for example)

Let me try one now and see if it gets blocked.

yes, i have found more information out:

Ok to be able to mod battlefield 1942 demo you have to create another copy of the map as you can not change the origional file, You name it this : Real level hellendorn modded level hellendoorn_001. You can now mod that. I have a problem, i use RFA explorer and this is the problems i came across, i made a video:

I got past the error problem by deleting the lightmaps then that worked, then a different error came with the textures so i deleted that. Then it worked there, then it said file access denied. I am stuck now, what do i do. Is there a different approach? I am a beginner to no detailed answeres please. Any videos would be great but i dont mind.

Simple...don't use Col Cruachan. It has nice features and all, but it is known to cause severe problems when packing .rfa and corrupts data quite often .

I also noticed your modding the SecretWeapons demo, in which case it is much closer to modding the retail version, since it is using the 1.45 release and has a simular folder structure to that of the retail and more modding support, like being able to host CSM.

Our forum didn't go into working with SW Demo but here is a full tutorial and site that offers a great deal of information.
