There's something I've always wondered, and it's the following: when a soldier picks up a kit from a dead soldier of the opposite army, why doesn't the uniform of the soldier who picked up the kit change to the uniform of the soldier he took the kit from? I noticed only the helmet/hat changes, is there a way to make the entire uniform change? If so, how?

I would also like to know if changing the crosshair HUD display on a per-hand weapon basis is possible, as I would like give the player the choice to choose the crosshair he likes, i.e. there would be 4 or 5 identical kits (4 or 5 for assault, 4 or 5 for engineer, etc) but with different crosshair displays for each kit of the same kind.

Pretty simple. The kits have nothing to do with the textures. Textures of the soldiers are defined in the init.con by setTeamSkin GermanSoldier. The additional layout changes are all included in the kit, and thus change if you change the kit. All the helmets, bags, backpacks etc. are mere "extras" to the default Teamskin.

AFAIK it's not possible to change the TeamSkin during game.

Can you have multiple skins in a same team, i.e., GermanSkins, RussianSkins, AmericanSkins, etc.. I want to give the players the freedom of choosing the skin they like.

Also, I'd like to know if it's possible to have more than five weapons in a kit. I'd like to make kits with a shotgun, throwable knives, normal grenades, incendiary grenades and smoke nades, a SMG or LMG gun and a sniper rifle, so seven weapons in total.

6 kits is possible AFAIK (don't know if 7 too).

Multiple skins for one team : No.
