Hey guys!

Is it possible to change some files in the BFSM to enable a "set next map" vote?

Now:
If you want to play your favorte map (next!) you have to start a vote for a mapchange. So you can't finish the current map.

I want:
The Mapchange vote does not change the current map but it changes the "next map" marker you can set in the BFRM when you are logged in as an admin.

Do you understand my question?

Ingame command is !setnext berlin to set the next map as berlin. Lol thats all i have for you

The idea behind is to let the player voter for their fav. maps. Even when no admin is online.
I hate the normal Map vote like it is.

Any ideas?

? the normal map vote isnt made in BFSM, so why change it?

Map vote is a behavior that is mostly in how the game is coded and isn't something that BFSM does. BFSM is merely a front in GUI that changes con file settings and sends commands to the server. Map vote is hard coded to stop the current round and load next map as far as I can tell.

Map vote is mostly client side behavior as the clients do a vote choosing the next map from a predetermined list as defined in the maplist.con file. Then those votes are tallied by the server and the server then ends the current round and loads the map that the majority has voted for. BFSM can't do much to actively interfere in this process. So you would have to actually do some hex-editing of the server EXE to change this behavior since there is no con file commands or PB related commands that could do what you want here.
