Hi guys. I am trying to find out how to put flettners into maps. The only map they are in is Raid on aghelia (sp?). So i went there and extracted all the things i could find related to flettners. I either missed something or dont know how to add the flettner parts back into a map to make it work. This very well might be above my modding skill level. I tried to put it into another secret weapons map just to make it easier on trying it out but nothing happened. Any help that could be offered would be most aprreciated. Here is a download of all the things i extracted for the flettner. I packed it back up just to make it an easy download.

Funny. I almost posted this same question yesterday about same time as you did. But then i tried taking the flettner off from reid of agheila and that worked for me. To make it easier for myself i took all sw objects in that map into my own custom map so I was sure i had all the files. I could use them anyway. So I am not sure which files it will all be but I ll try lookup yours and see if I can find anything.

Looking all good if you ask me. If that is your map, do you want to load the flettner in battlecraft?.

You will have to add a line (Flettner=StandardMesh(Flettner) to the bf42.lst file in battlecraft. I guess you know that.

Then also you need a standard init.con file in your map with a line saying: run objects/objects and a line: textureManager.alternativePath texture
This wont make it visible but you can add a flettner objectspawn and when loading up the map it will be there. or you could just write a spawn in the text documents when you know x y z coords and make it spawn.

I dont think this helped you much so far. Im working with this kind of things atm aswell so If i find anything I will let you know.
You could also try my method by just adding all the objects and then removing everything you think is not necesarry step by step and see where your flettner gets removed.

Or you could take a look at this tutorial
http://home.earthlink.net/~dweller_bent ... adding.htm
and look up the Ju88a files you can download on the bottom see if theres anything different. I had the Ju88a working with that tutorial. Just dont want a Ju88a so i removed it.

I am sorry Cole. I didnt look it up good enough. My fault. But I did now.

I was about to start use the debugger but then i had found it already. You were missing 3 things.
1. a texture
2. a minimap icon
3. a vehicle icon

I put all files in a winrar with usefull installation text for anyone to follow(hopefully). Just do as I described in the install instructions and your map will have a flettner.

Here a link to the new file
