Hopefully a quick one of a personal observation: Keep in mind it's the start of the weekend.

Regarding Helo missle attacking or any projectile for that matter:
Old rig (actually current rig) ati radeon 6800 (crappy card from 2004) needs "2" hellfires to destroy bmp's/light tanks
New rig (actually work rig using i7 965 cpu) ati firepro v5700 (nice card from 2009) needs "1" hellfires to destroy bmp's/light tanks

Sometimes it just seemed like the hellfire would miss/do little damage on 2004 system vs. "boom" from 2009.
If I can't see the missle hitting does that mean it didn't? Are missle strikes frames per second related...as in the missle hit at the 32.5154 frame but I couldn't see it on a 32 fps system?

Is this observation graphics or cpu related?

I would say your current rig CPU (what is it anyways)? might be a bottleneck to your ati
radeon 6800. or vice versa

In a game, the CPU does the calculations of what your doing (when your shoot, hit, etc..) while your GPU renders the images it is told by the CPU. If theres an imbalance of one (a bottleneck), it won't work as well

Though this would be the first time I hear ingame results change due to different hardware configurations...Even if you lag like hell, the calculated results should still be the same, only...laggy.

Are you sure you had 100% the same circumstances? hit the tank in the exact same spot. Remember, vehicles have different armor on different directions. Did you hit them at the exact same angle? Remember, the amount of damage you deal is 100% relative to the angle you hit! If you hit at 90° angle, you deal 100% damage. At 1° angle, you deal 0,9% damage. Could it be possible you had more of a "glancing" shot? This can diminish the amount of damage close to nil...
