Hey Thanks Apache.

The render. line really did make the buildings darker. Although it also ( i think) make the soldiers go close to black. Can changing the shadow color make them lighter?

When ive made night time maps in the past, ive always had to drop the brightness & constrast on the building textures through a paint program then save them to my maps "Textures" dir. Which is a seriously long process but does work! I'll try what Apache mentioned with the "DefaultTexture.dds" file.
