that would work. it HAS to be attached to the gun so that it only shows when the gun is out or it would look retarded. but while your at the point where it's only working when you press the trigger. why not make a certain button (e.g. F or something) turn it on (and maybe off?). though, now that I think about it I don't think you can have more then 2 triggers on a hand weapon. maybe if you made the laser only work when you zoom in? that might work?

ahh but you can have two "weapons" or atleast a extra gunbarrel added. i dont know if you cold give that armoreffects tho

set it to fire on altfire then give it round of fire -1 and have its ammo at -1 rate of fire 10000

no that just adds a another geometry into the picture but with the same projectile. you just use two projectile positions. I'm pretty sure that the issue is that you have to either get rid of the zoom or add the laser only to the zoom. which could work. just assign the emitter to that trigger (alt) and have the laser work when you zoom in. or you could try to assign it to another key. but I really doubt that that would work. and no you cant give it armor effects. II thought you could only give those to PCO's?

EDIT. Whatthe actually has a good idea. if you wanted to you could make it a projectile instead of an emitter. which makes more sense and would probably be easier. just make a red projectile for it.
