It's not like it's easy. At all. I would even say impossible. Either way, we would have to do some DLL injecting into the game, which could just cause all sorts of trouble with PunkBuster.

Screw PB....seriously. It doesn't catch any bf1942 hacks anyway, even when updated it kicks alot of innocent people for packet loss and other BS, and who the hell hacks at this game? Seriously! It's beyond pointless!

Uhm, questions like "why would anyone hack this game?" or "why would anyone exploit engine editing for cheating?" are pointless. There are almost 7 billion of people on this planet, and there are a great deal more assholes out there than you think there are.

This is more true:
If something is possible, no matter how much sense it may have, there is - somewhere - a person who does it. The human nature is so diversified, there are so many things going on for some guys which would never even remotely cross your mind. Really.

oh yeah, right, there was something like a topic here...

I agree with W2K here, DLL editing and injecting without proper tools and knowledge is very messy and almost bound to cause myriads of problems with no dev support whatsoever.

DesertFox, Packet loss is easy fixed. Just reinstall with the original PBfiles and update. Do the firewall stuff and voila. How would you ban someone without PB?
