Battlefield Modding Tutorials BFMODS

Hey guys I used the mod wizard in the MDT toolkit to make my new mod But it doesent seem to be reading the archives in the mod it keeps reading the ones from dcf and I cant figure out why

heres my init I add the line game.customGameFlushArchives 0 but it did nothing *NOTE* My archives are identical to the dcf archives except I have deleted all the files except a few that im actually changing

NOBODY? I noticed that ther is a file in all the other mods that is not in this ones directory lexiconall.dat what is this? what does it do? and how do I use it?

Okay I found out how not sure what the dat does but my mod still is not reading my archives

I didn't know anyone didn't know what the lexicon did

The lexicon contains Strings and String replacements. Basically it was a way to use something like radio_yesno_local in your game files, but then be able to edit one master file for language differences. The file is a modified text file, and the MDT allows you to convert between dat and txt.

The file basically looks like this for each entry:

some_embedded_game_command

English Version

Spanish Version

French Version

Other Language Version

Maybe (?) Another Language Version

######

some_other_game_command

English Version

...etc

yea i opened it yeseterday with the mdt tools but i just wasn't quite sure what it was but ok makes sense
