Hi Everyone!

Well,i checked the forums for my question,but couldn't find the right answer.
So here it is:

I would like to make a server side modding for vanilla bf1942 in Battle of Britain.
I would like to force the players to use only knife and pistol.
But how could i disable the other wepons? BUT! How can i make it to look like this:
the player can't switch to other weapons, only the knife and the pistol.
So not this one: the player can hold out the stg44,it is in his arms,but the bullets don't hurt.no,i would like to use the nother option.

How couldi do that? Pls help!

I don't know that you can do this without a crash or a change in client files (not SSM).

Yes I don't think you can do that SSM.

You can do:

ObjectTemplate.Active WeaponNameHere
ObjectTemplate.setInputFire c_PIMouseLook

This will still allow people to change to the weapon, but they can't pull the trigger.

But then you need to have no ammo first.

Then put a giant ammo killing bubble around the map that only works on everything but pistols and knives

Just change the Weapon triggers to something else, the game will be confused and they wont work. Its how "Pure" Infantry servers do their grenades.

Yes but he wants the weapons completely unselectable, and I don't think that's possible SSM.
