If you want the sound and projectile of a browning more work is involved, some of which I can't help you with but to give it the same magazine and projectile...
ObjectTemplate.Active M249
ObjectTemplate.projectileTemplate browningprojectile
ObjectTemplate.Magsize howeverbigthemagis
You could also make the overheat and cooldown time the same if you wanted. Same with roundOfFire and reloadtime, but that will make it seem like a browning to your targets at least.

were would i rename it? and do you know if a higher rate of fire would disable the sound for the gun?

You literally rename the weapon. The files, the name when it is first created in the files, etc. This is a very VERY non-server-side thing to do, since you are essentially deleting the old weapon and creating a new one in its spot.
