have u gotten the plane to accually hover yet? (out of curiousity) i would of thought that the bf1942 engine would not have the capability for helicopter type movements? =/, but i could be wrong ^.^; |

Well, the people who play DesertCombat may think otherwise, but you are right I believe ( DC's choppers are unflyable they spin out of control) Vermillion.... your missing a word. Check the second line of code. And having setRotation at two different values may even be a crash worthy problem. Try this: objectTemplate.active corsaircomplex objectTemplate.addTEMPLATE KatyushaRocket_Engine <<< It's addTemplate not just add, and I cannot overemphasize the importance of the _. ObjectTemplate.setrotation -90/0/0 <<< Don't put the rotation ObjectTemplate.setRotation 0/0/0 <<< at two different values! objectTemplate.active KatyushaRocketEngine ObjectTemplate.setMinRotation 0/0/0 ObjectTemplate.setMaxRotation 0/0/5000 ObjectTemplate.setMaxSpeed 0/0/1000 ObjectTemplate.setAcceleration 0/0/-10000 <<< I'm thinking this will make it do nothing? ObjectTemplate.setInputToRoll c_PIReverseThrottle <<< Not sure about the name for this, try what I have ObjectTemplate.setAutomaticReset 1 ObjectTemplate.setEngineType c_ETPlane ObjectTemplate.setTorque 25 ObjectTemplate.setDifferential 5 ObjectTemplate.setGearUp 0.7 ObjectTemplate.setGearDown 0.3 ObjectTemplate.setNoPropellerEffectAtSpeed 150 |

I made a plane using a code very similar to this, where you right click to take off, and then you must be very careful and level out and fly, as it has no forward turbo, but it's very flyable. |
