so i have a map =D that i made, but i need help! for some reason the mod won't work when i try launching it/testing it
so i'm not sure if what i've done with it is correct or not =[

let me exsplain the map so far, and what i still want done to it.

it's a water map, purely naval battle
so far i have all the ships in the right starting spots, pointed in the right direction, and i have 1 spawn point set up for each side.
i also have a test plane on the carrier just to test out the plane spawning of the map.
what i still need to do:
add more spawn points, 1 for each ship
add more planes
tweak the ships so that once they are destroyed they don't respawn
make the objective of the match to be to destroy all the enimys ships
add weapons to the ships (i'm not sure if they come with them in the game or i have to manually add them, since they don't have them already attached in the mod? )
side notes:
i'd like the starting tickets to be 200+
i want the lifeboats to be respawnable (the ones attached to the ships)(this i think i've figured out for myself, im just saving it for last since it seems easy to do ^.^; )
there are no control points, i want the game to be more, destroy the enimy as opose to capture control points

anybody who can help plz leave a msg =D
if u like i can xfer the mod file over so u can see it /work on it

Well, the first thing I noticed is that there are no ObjectSpawns or ObjectSpawnTemplates for any gameType....which could be a problem.

well, dude I threw your map up in my mod that I'm making, "Peace's Rest". I didn't like it so much. :lol: according to the debug assertion : it can't find the Sky_Bocage_m1.sm... basically you don't have that in your standardmesh folder... which is strange because you should unless you deleted it. try running the map in your vanilla bf1942 and see if it runs. I recommend you download the debugger in the download section. it's great when making a new map where anything could be wrong. :lol:
just put the sea_battle.rfa in your bf1942/levels/ directory and run it from bf1942, or the debug version which I suggest. and please take a screen shot when the debug assertion pops up please it will look like this:debug ass.jpg
