I was wondering if there was a way to make the vanilla bf1942 mines blow up if a person steps on them, I looked through objects.rfa to find whatever makes the mines only trigger on vehicles, not blow up on people, and couldn't find anything. Anyone have any ideas? |

As far as I know it is not possible in BF1942 to make an AP mine. The trick is that it is possible to activate it when an enemy is near but there's no code for adding a delay for deploying it. You find info on this topic amongst the info that's available for BF Vietnam. In a MDT tutorial on explosives and traps the bouncing Betty is explained. Hope you find the answers to your questions here. If you do find a way to make it work you know were you can write a basic tutorial |
