Hey, are the vanilla bf1942 weapons what their real strength is? Seeing how it takes 5-10 shots to kill someone, i dont think they are :D

So...I am buying a dedicated box, gonna have a mostly OBJ server, 24 slots, and another bf1942 server... 16 slots, :SD Weapon Realism SSM

So...Any Weapon fanatics, please tell me if the weapon needs to be tougher or weaker? Thanks if you can!

We can just start with those one's...Does anyone got a list of what the Road to Rome and Secret Weapon's ; weapon's list is? Just the new one's.


I replaced the Thompson with a k98 sniper projectile, and it was a 2-3 bullets faster on it's kills...althoguh i was just testing it....I don't want any weapon to really be a 1 shot kill, unless it's a headshot...

Any idea's? If not..I'll have to guess :(

how real do you want to get?

One or two bullets from an assault rifle and you would be hurting..or dead.

Bazooka...I would up the splash damage some. If it can punch a hole in a wall, or take out a tank, you should be able to zook at someones feet and take them out.

OH...make nades DO LESS DAMAGE to tanks! lol. This will make engies/zookers more important. A hand grenade IS NOT going to kill a tank. It takes about 6 to destroy a light tank. I would at least double that to 12.

Since you're making weapons more powerful, you might want to decrease their accuracy just a bit as well.

I always loved how you could get shot in the chest with a .50 cal in BF2 and live. Retards.

Ok, here is the code im using for the bazooka, for now...

rem Bazooka
ObjectTemplate.Active Bazooka
ObjectTemplate.ProjectileTemplate FighterBomb
ObjectTemplate.Radius 50
ObjectTemplate.ForceOnExplosion 80





My question is, how do I get it to shoot straight, like a bullet? It keep's shooting out like a rainbow.

But, when I added the panzershreck, mp40, and thompson into the map...the game kept crashing...
