Hey i am bored so much of doing my metode on getting more room in the staticobject.con..
i am removing the rem from it and its boring and takes to long so i was wondering if anyone know a bether metode? :)

You mean these things???

rem -----------------------------------------
rem --- HummerSpawner ---
rem -----------------------------------------

Extract the .con file.
Open in notepad.
Use the replace command....for rem -----------------------------------------
etc.

no i i mean like i cant type in anything in the staticobjects.con, i goto remove the unnessesary rem written so i get room to set more objects in it, its enoying wen i goto go up and remove wen i gone take in something.. i am building a race and it takes forever
NOTE: i need to take it in there for patches.

The regular way:

You are probably trying to add things in winRFA. Unfortunately it limits what you can put in.

Extract the map/patch file. Open StaticObjects.con, and add whatever you want to. Repack the file.

***The best way to do it:

DON'T USE STATIC OBJECTS.CON!!!
(Note: only if adding invisible objects server-side. If making your own map, skip this)

There's too much of a possibility of screwing things up. Also, your patch files will be AT LEAST 70kb smaller. Just add whatever new things you want to ObjectSpawns.con, in whatever game mode you're editing.

You won't "see" it -- you can't see ANY static objects server side...but the object WILL be there if its placed in OS.con. Trust me, I've done it. :o

ummh static object worked just fine.. i maybe did wrong on os.con before.. however i have to make patches for my friends, dont you get data differs from server wen using os.con for patches?

And im so sorry bout the double posting..i most have click 2 times on submit or something
