Well I found some thing out about the tripods. They seem to default to a -1 HP each sec as soon as they spawn. When I was testing them to see how they behave I was using one that has 500 HP (I didn't know that at the time, all the other ones are 50 or 45 HP so must be a typo in the code maybe) Any way I thought that theys stayed around for ever as long as some one was nearby b/c the 500 HP one would take 500sec to die. I didn't wait that long as just guessed they stayed for ever like other fixed guns.

So when I tried 0 or .1 etc it must have defaulted to the -1

Well I tried with the death bubbles again but still problems. It still seems to go to -1 it the value I try is less than 1.
Also I tried higher values just to test and the HP is all gone but is this stays around til the regular 50sec

So what I'll try to do is work on the death bubbles with other objects, make sure my method is correct b/c I might not be doing that right.
I also might try to look in the code for the tripods and see if I can find what causes the default to -1 and if I can mod it.

Be sure it's the right weapon you mod and test with.
Put all tripods out and shoot at them and see who's who.
Change hitpoints on each one of them.
1, 10, 100, 1000.
Hitpoints only Work clientside when you test.
