Man this is cool! This site is cool, I learned quite a bit from it.

Anyways , the lada car bomb, if you put a firedelay in can appear really funny. Apparently if you trigger the bomb with the horn, but you die before it detonates, the deathmessage is messed up.

It should be something like:

[GNYSO]Batgirl [lada] C@LT
[GNYSO]Batgirl [lada] Ludwig van

But becasue of the death of the bomber between trigger and detonation we got:



LOL ... "multiplayerfreecamera". Its still funny. I may do away with my delay anyways.

we were playin the other night and i thought it was funny to see:

Commander Saq [lada] Victim

killed by a lada

oh.. i was thinking. if FF is off, do you still take damage from a vehicle explosion? maybe you can bump up the objecttemplate.damagewhenlost value for the lada spawner to like 20 or something. so the scud may not kill him, but the lada blowing up will.

Thats a problem, normally my server FF is completely off. I had to turn on some splash damage to get it to be an actual suicide for the car bomber. And yes, you still take damage from a vehicle explosion ... so that may be a good solution you are suggesting tanfhltu. Ill give it a try later tonight.

EDIT: oops, the other problem is, if you are in the vehicle it wont blow up with the scud because its a friendly vehicle.

so does that mean that if you honk the horn, the scud doesn't explode at all? or it explodes, but the lada is undamaged as long as you remain in it?

FF completely off:

Honk the horn, the scud explodes, blows up all neutral or enemy vehicles and personel in the zone ... but does not kill the bomber or other friendly's and as long as the bomber soldier remains in the car, the car too is undamaged.

So yes.

I like crazy, but thats a little too crazy. The thing is, you can just keep driving around doing that as much as you want in the same car.

addtemplate a death bubble to the scud.

i think keester defined one in his el al exploit fix thread.
