well, i ll have to say it:

I only code with editor , I hate battlecraft, i do meshes with 3dsmax, i hate battlecraft, i do textures with photoshop, i hate battlecraft, i pack and unpack with winrfa and I HATE BATTLECRAFT !

I agree with your opinion about Battlecraft and I use it only if necessary.

The question still remains, can one use WINRFA ( text editing ) to edit the "out of bounds" definitions of a map ?

I have tried some text editing techniques for re-defining the 'out of bounds' but without much success.

I am by no means an expert "master" modder, as modding is an ongoing learning experience and thanks to this informative website, we can all help each other here in this modding community with tips and advice based on our own experiences.

So have any of you edited the out of bounds for a map using something other than Battlecraft ?

I looked for this code in the MDT All properties list and it is not shown.

All it shows is the following up to the letter "D"

Game.damageForBeingOutsideWorld
Game.Defaultstartpos

Game.MaxNrofPlayers
Game.SetActiveCombatArea

It would seem logical if it were listed, it would be shown where the orange text is located, but it's NOT.

I am going to add this code to the map's Init.con at the bottom of the text and see how it works.

game.damageForBeingOutsideWorld 0



I have never seen this code before but it seems like it would be a valid command line code.

I'll let you know if it does work.
