I've never tried changing around the demo, and I don't think that it supports _001 _002, etc patch files, as it doesn't have any to use?

...And doesn't the demo use either 1.0 or the updated 1.1 demo patch anyways? Why bother changing stuff on 1.1 when multiplayer will never user it.

Guns mounted on the jeeps? I didn't think that was possible server-side... maybe there is something in the demo objects.rfa? I've never actually looked into anything dealing with the demo.

Um. Well. All I can say is that either the demo has some major sssm'ing advantages, or you downloaded some patch that has all of this stuff included.
