Ok this is not a Server-side question. When making a map from scratch, would one be ill served to add as many spawnertemplates as there are different vehicles. I ask this because when looking at a "Omaha Beach Historic" (a user map for bf1942) I was amazed at how many templates where made. I could understand wanting them to be seperate if they had different parameters, but these all (for the most part) spawned the same info. I wonder what this might do to the server?? I mean there are tons! More than I have ever seen on one map. Basically one for EVERY vehicle. As a s-s modder I really like the idea of putting out a map that includes what a s-s modders craves ....... lots of templates. However this map does lag and it makes me wonder. |
