Hi I just came accross your site today. Thank god! I looked every where for days without finding shit.

When using The Col's RFA Explorer Version 1.2 program to open a .rfa file. should you open then main .rfa such as El_Alamein.rfa or the last patch such as El_Alamein_003.rfa ? And after editing the needed files how do I proceed to save it correctly ?

I need to add some AA guns to the allied side. I appreciate any help thanks.

Open 003, this is the most recent patch and if you use the main one some of the vehicles may be moved around, if your trying to edit a file thats not in there then import it from an earlier patch, once your done save it as El_Alamein_004 for a windows server or el_alamein_004 for a linux server.

OK thx, I tried opening El AL with battlecraft to get the x y POS to place the addition AA guns but I can't see the textures or objects just that damn tan fog everywhere. Here is a pic

See if you can find version 2.0. I had the same problem, but 2.0 works fine. If you can't find it, I'll upload it to the downloads section.

i think that's because your really far up... press the W key and tilt down like your moving in bf (notice yer Z is like over 600).

It was the Battlecraft 2.1, I downloaded 2.0 and it loaded fine. You guys have provided answers to questions no one would or could thanks alot. Do you mind if I link to you? I have a few more clan members interested in mapping.
