This is from the last testing phase of DC before it was bought by dice. Had there been a DC v.08 you probably would have seen it in person.

Also is this a mod or can i use this in dc_final ?

It is a test by the DC/EA team to see how well rapeling would work in the
new BF2 engine. They ported Basrah's Edge over and used that map to
run the test.

maybe if you spawned a lader from the blackhawk and just make the model a rope, you could put ithis into a mod.. heh that would be cool

That picture is from Trauma.
They did some prototype coding for bf2 within the bf1942 "refractor II" engine.
U can add a ladder serverside but you couldnt exit the blackhawk and climb down the ladder. U only can climb it up and jupt into the heli.
