Can radar be added to vehicles? I want to add radar to some BF plains in an DCF El Alamein map. I have the planes suped up to go faster than the jets, but they have no radar. I would like to give them radar as well. And maybe to the helios too. Is this possible via ssm? I notcied that the Shilka a radartower thing. Can that just be addtemplated to a vhicle (I tired it on the DPV, but no radar, no crash either though)?

While it's true that the minimap gets info from the server, what's displayed is a product of the client. There is very harsh (and deserved) criticism for minimap hacks. There was a mini-mod called clearview that changed the flag graphic to a clear/translucent circle. This was determined to be unacceptable by PB (). Based in part on this, I would have to say that what the minimap shows (or doesn't) is exclusive to the client side.

Sorry. Wasn't trying to discourage your attempt, just point out where I got my information and how I came to the conclusion I did. If you do find a way to implement it, please let me know. I'd love to implement this on my server. So far it's been limited to custom maps.
