Hi, I'm hoping for clarification on two points, both pertaining to DC .7 maps:
I created death bubbles in the uncaps for the maps in our rotation. However, if a plane/helo is high enough, it's still possible to decimate everything in the base. I was thinking that one possible solution would be to create another bubble, changing the Z coordinates (I think that's the right one) to start another Dome O' Death at approximately the top of the one created at ground level. That would prevent me from using some outrageous radius number to get the height. Is this possible? Is there any correlation between the radius size and the coordinates, e.g. NewStartHeight=CurrentZCoordinate + CurrentRadius? I hope that makes sense. In other words, if I'm at, say, 69.05 Z, with a radius of 150, start a new one with a Z coordinate of 219.05?
We were trying to add a boat to the US side of Lost Village. We read the tut on adding/replacing vehicles. If I understand correctly ... I can only use items previously/originally defined in the ObjectSpawns.con, but I can change the value for what Actually spawns at that location in ObjectSpawnTemplates.con? I need to eliminate a current thing to "add" (replace, really) a different thing in its place? If the item itself was not originally defined (as in there are no boats in the original Lost Village) is it still possible to insert it as a replacement? We tried to eliminate one of the 50 cal rifles and put the boat in the water using the 50 cal's variable (with new coordinates instead) but we got crashy crashy for our efforts. I can post the code we used but I think I can figure it out if I get a good understanding on my own.
I apologize for the multitude of questions, hopefully they're close enough in line for someone to easily address them.
Thanks for any help.
