so i'm reading over the tutorials provided by "why two key" (sorry if i spelled it wrong ><)
currently i'm reading over the weapon damage modifyer tutorial and it's kind of confusing,
i sort of understand what to do/how to do it, but when i try it, it doesn't work and bf42 won't load, and even if undo all the changes and/or replace the edited rfa with an unedited copy i have, bf42 still won't load, only way to fix the unloadingness is to uninstall and then reinstall bf42 D=

what i'm currently trying to do is make a mustang with a nuke,
or in higher detials...
i'm trying to edit the damage of the mustang bomb so it does tons of damage, i've tried copying/pasting the mustangbomb, portion of the object.rfa into the bottom of the objectspawn template of my custom map rfa, i've also tried editing the object.rfa file itself, and still no luck ><
just lots of bf42 crashes

Be sure that if your are repacking RFAs to make sure you have the correct base path set right. Otherwise the game won't even start. Also don't put a folder within the level folder. I found out the hard way that the game doesn't like that.

Since the damage system is in the game.rfa file the currect base path for that is "bf1942". I would assume your usiing WinRFA, but I don't know since you haven't told us what your using to change the RFA files.

yes, winrfa, and no i don't change the paths or anything, what i do when i want to edit a file is i copy it, past it to my desktop for safe keeping, then use winrfa to edit the original file that is still in my bf folder,
if i mess up the rfa i just take the copy and paste it into the original position and overwrite the edited file with the original ^^;
