yes!!! I figured it out just one last thing to work out I viewed my guy from a third person view and it's there in game! It just is up like a meter above and to the left of my guy it also doesn't shoot.... i'll work on that. how do I reposition it? I assume in GMAX, so i'll try that and then i'll get back to you

yeah just import the original gun you started with from bf42 and align the trigger with yours.. should turn out ok

meh now there is another problem... I can't see it in first person unless first switch to another gun or veiw it in third person first then go back to it. and if I switch to another gun and go back to it, then he holds it like the last weapon that was used I think probably something with not having every animation set up... I need to do a final check on the animations to make sure their using the AssualtRifle LOD's not the Thompson's. But yeah I need to also aline the trigger up. I did in fact get it to shoot though....
