Battlefield Modding Tutorials BFMODS

Hello, I started modding ago but patchfiles isn't so clear for me yet. For an example : I make a market_garden_007 and have the files i need (os, ost etc) BF1942 refuses to start.

Some one please help me, i'm tired of naging/asking people on x-fire about it and i really want to be a good modder like you boys and girls..

I made my own folder..But when I delete the patchfiles, my battlefield 1942 works fine.

you do not make your own level folder, the patch files go in same folder as the level itself.

You packed it wrong..

Look at the file structure of yours, then look at another 1942 patch file.

It should start with bf1942/, but yours starts with Modded Stuff/bf1942.

Also...you have TWO SETS of the same files...you packed it wrong a couple times.

The path (after packed) should be:
bf1942/levels/Bocage

Extract it to a NEW place, and when you go to pack it, make sure you pack the first "bf1942" folder. LOOK at my guide again I'm pretty sure its covered there.
