Hi!

I'm the Clan-Leader of the Private Army, we are playing on Version 1.2, currently i am working with battlecraft on a Map for Trainings. But soon some problems appeared:

1. When i start BC then i get Error-Messages, one is because of Video-systems, that they are not actual.

2.When I make something like, grass, water or a street, then i have to start the "Generate Surface Maps" to see it, but if i do this, i get an Error-Message, because BC don't works anymore and BC closes.

3.When i save my Map, then it is saved in an compatibility-Mode, and if i don't activate it, i cant see these Maps in the Level-List. If i start BfV i can choose the map, and if i do this, it loads until the half and then BfV just shuts down.

I really hope that you can help me!!

For the second one, it could be that your computer can't handle it. I know with my ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 card if i do something big it crashes. That error message always pops up for me and i get no problems from it, so I wouldn't really worry about it. What do you run? XP or Vista and do you have any idea why it saves in Compatiblitly Mode? That could probably Currupt the map and cause it to crash the game/ and/or server.

I have Vista, and i have no Idea why it saves in Compabilty mode....

vista often bugs with old games like bfv,1942,cod2 so maybe thats the prob, my friend jackpot had ALOT of problems with his bfv, so now he has downloaded a xp copy from piratebay and it works fine for him now.
Try that if u dont care about vista,If you care about vista and think its nice try to reinstall thats the only choise, that dont work ur pretty screwed (I think)

BF1942 and BFV (especially mods for 1942) will always have problems in Vista. Why? Microsoft hates us all. Anyway, Vista is a highly likely cause of this. Is it 32-bit or 64-bit? 32 is generally good about XP games from what I hear, but that 64 is the devil to XP Games. If you don't know which it is, I could probably tell you by the manufacturer.

Try VirtualPC you can run XP on Vista with that.

I have 32 bit edition of Vista

Yep thats it jack had the same vista 32bit and he had the same problem.

Installing Xp with virtual server as twist said or just boot whole pc with xp would make it work i guess
