ok, so i got OFD modded ( ) so it has the aircraft carrier in it, has couple of jets and a few choppers on it... looks sweet... the shock and awe effect is cool too... I have it set as a control point and the engines set ObjectTemplate.Acceleration 0/0/0 so it stays put...



The Problem: The choppers are wacked... they do damage to everything except each other... and the only way to damage them is with splash damage... I can't figure out whats up... tried the tut section under the modifying weapons and damage system even though i shouldn't need to, at least i didn't think i would... it's already running, right? had this problem before and couldn't figure it out then either... the aircraft carrier takes damage and blows up(so to speak) and the AA guns can take out a chopper, but i think it's jus splash there too...

suggestions please, and thanks in advance...

Sounds like you changed the chopper material..

i can in a day or two... on the road right now, but i didn't/don't make any changes to things like that... i don't really have a need to, all i did was dropped the rfa's in from regular bfv, and setup a spawner for the carrier, then of course positioned stuff... but as for changing things like ObjectTemplate.material, nope.

Is it ssm with carrier?
Sounds like clientside.
And I think material in PoE vs BFV doesn't match, can this be your problem?

it's serverside, and it's OFD run from WW2 everything works fine except for the choppers not taking direct damage

As there are no choppers in WWII, do you think damagesystem is tweaked to do damage on them, I guess it's not.
When you hit with a rocket or something, does it explode or just vanish?
