Ever run two maps at the same time?

I opened a map in battlecraft and used the copy level command to make a copy. I then modded the copied map and put it with the original map in levels folder.

When I ran the map on my local dedicated server everything seemed good.

When I ran the map on my game server and it ran fine, but, for other people the generated vegetation dissappeared and they could not see the trees except for their shaddows.

So I removed from my levels folder the original map and then joined the game server and I too could not see the trees.

I concluded that the copied map was drawing on the original map so that only I could see the trees.

I really want to fix this problem, but cant seem to find a solution. Any ideas?

changed names.

But inside various files are links. Even the map with the changed name still has links to the old file. I have since seen this subject raised elsewhere on these forums without a definative conclusion.

I manually changed the links, and everything worked again except for the vegetation. I dont know why the over growth and undergrowth dont appear, but the shaddows do appear.

Where does the map store the over growth and under growth? Note that the over and under growth on my map is generated using the vegetation tool. Simply bold out the terrain with the tool in BC and run the generators in BC and the growth appears.

The only thing I do is unpack, change level name and repack with the new name
