Twist, no i didnt do a download for that map.

There is a way this works. I was in the map.

I bet the bfv mod is configured to look in a sideways folder where the ww2 mod resides somehow.

i saw zeros, us corsairs, aa all from ww2 in the flaming dart map. No download.

Urglub, are you saying as long as the server runs ww2 and bfv, then all i would need to do is add a ww2 vehicle to flaming dart in bfv and the ww2 vehicles should show up?

Will this work for EOD and POE as well?

Sort of.
As long as you run WWII you can use a BFV map and ad WWII vehicles on that map.

When you run WWII mod, you also run BFV in background.

BFV is the base, WWII is a mod on BFV.

What you can ad is what you have in your path, everything else has to be downloaded and that's CS.

Run EoD.
Don't run BFV.

In your path when you run EoD you have EoD and BFV.
This means everything from BFV and EoD can be attached to map. EVERYTHING.
You can ad both types of vehicles.

i understand opening an eod map can have both eod and bfv objects. I tried running fall of saigon in eod by putting that map in the eod levels folder and i got a crash when i put in eod weapons

getting a bfv map to run in eod, i dont know.

Can you illustrate the path?

Putting, you mean move map?
Why?
Check levels folder in EoD.
Ad your patchfile there. Patchfile, not mapfile.
Look at Mapfiles in EoD, use that information.
Anything wrong, anything at all will crash map.

ok i actually tried that too. I made a patchfile for fall of saigon and opened an eod map and inserted the eod_cobra and eod_heuy into the saigon patchfile.

The patchfile was saved into the eod levels folder

It did not crash but no eod cobra or heuy spawned. All these changes were made to the patchfile on the server in the eod levels folder

If i leave the patch file with bfv objects in it suchas the f4phantom etc. they appear on the eod map.

However, I cannot get the eod object to appear on the bfv map and it appears no one here knows how to do that either...

This link appears to look at inserting new models into the standard mesh list for battlecraft just like the bfv.cfg file in the battlecraft pathway. However, Im not sure about that paths described in the tutorial. Maybe this is off base
