Is it possible/how would I do it? My clan has a map maker and he's making a map for us, so how would I add the AC-130 from DC to it? (In case you haven't noticed, I'm obsessed with plane gunships) I want that wicked plane in BFV though, so how would I do it? I need what.. the objects.rfa, standardmesh, texture (I'll probly make my own), animation, and sound, what else? -Sianyde [1CD] |

I realize it's possible now, but is it possible to bring it in from 1942 to 'Nam? I tried bringing the AC-130, went over a couple steps more than once, and put it into the map, it loads fine, but the plane does NOT show up. HELP Sianyde |

just to clarify, the AC 130 isnt in 1942, its in DC and DC_Final, which are mods of BF1942, dont wanna confuse anyone my friend, try to be concise as possible,  although even i can be confusing at times,  , as for calling vehicles from other maps, iced was attempting this a coupla months ago, try searching his posts, as well as other?

Yeah I realize that, and thanks I will look around. I meant DC lol. But is it not possible to bring it in? Like the map loads but the AC-130 just doesn't show up. That's the problem. If you go to where the C130 is supposed to be, can you run into it or get in it, even though you can't see it? |

it is absolutely possible, however, coding needs to be adjusted a wee bit. Check the export settings in 3dsmax, BFV requires an extra setting, so ... Putting the model from DC in BFV = possible will it work with copy & paste = nope |
